Errata
Corrections to the field book, listed by printing, with the date each was recorded.
First printing, 2026
No errata have been recorded to date.
This page is maintained as corrections are confirmed, so that a reader can check a passage against the current position without waiting for a reprint.
Reporting an error
If you find one — a formula, a constant, a regulatory citation, a cross-reference or a figure — we would rather hear about it than not.
Write to info@hydrotechtesting.com with the page number, the passage and what you believe the correct position to be. Confirmed corrections are posted here with the date recorded, and carried into the next printing.
On the regulatory citationsThe book cites the Code of Federal Regulations as it stood at the time of writing. Regulations are revised continually, and a citation that has since changed is not an erratum in the book so much as a reason to verify against the current text before use. Where a change is material we will note it here.
Standing noteThis is educational reference material, not engineering advice.
Regulations are revised continually; the editions in force at the time of a project govern, and every
project requires its own qualified engineering analysis and the operator’s governing specifications.
